VCF Mestalla's latest signing, Rodrigo Rodrigues, spoke to VCF Media about his move to the team in the summer transfer market, saying that “I am very happy with the opportunity that Valencia CF are giving me. I want to make the most of it and this year could be very nice."
The 22-year-old arrives at the club with experience in demanding competitions, first at Gremio Novorizontino, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, then in Spain from the 2017/18 season. Last term, he scored 8 goals in the Primera RFEF for Talavera de la Reina FC.
“I'm a very intense striker, with good technique, and I hope to contribute with goals and help the team in their objective,” states Rodrigues, who was scouted by a former Valencia CF star.
“Fabio Aurelio is my agent and he has made history here. I hope to represent him well. I will be dedicating my first goal to him.”
Another Brazilian at the club is Marcos André, an old acquaintance of the new incorporation for VCF Mestalla. “I met him in Madrid. He is a great footballer and a good person,” commented Rodrigues.
